Spatial Dimension is pleased to announce that Kumba Iron Ore and the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy of Côte d’Ivoire have recently joined the global FlexiCadastre user community.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Kumba Iron Ore as our most recent corporate user. The Anglo American Group already use FlexiCadastre in a number of their business units and the implementation within Kumba will allow Anglo American to further benefit from a consistent approach to risk and obligation management of their very significant mineral and land holdings,” said Bill Feast, Managing Director of Spatial Dimension.

In Côte d’Ivoire, Spatial Dimension has been awarded a contract under the World Bank funded Mining Institutional Capacity Building Project (PRCISM) to implement a new mining cadastre system.

“Together with our partners in Francophone Africa, M-Consulting, Spatial Dimension is excited about the opportunity to implement a modern mining cadastre system for Côte d’Ivoire. The proper and transparent management of the minerals sector will be a key factor to the economic growth and social stability of the country,” added Bill Feast.
