These tasks, or actions, include all the obligations that are required to be fulfilled by the company, the regulating authority, and/or third parties to properly manage the mineral right or related agreement. These tasks are generally dictated by:

• the prevailing mining law and regulations in each jurisdiction
• global regulatory and compliance requirements (SOX etc)
• the standard business processes of the organisation implementing the solution
• related third party agreements (joint ventures, royalty agreements etc)

These obligations typically include all submissions, applications, payments, approvals, public participations, deadlines, financial reports, work programs, communications, notifications, approvals and escalations and any other workflow related items that are associated with the mineral right or related agreement.
